Reformation Day at Emory

Reformation Day at Emory

October 30th, 2025

Pitts Theology Library is excited to announce its annual Reformation Day at Emory program, to be held on campus and online on Thursday, October 30th. This annual event is an opportunity to celebrate and learn from the library's world-renowned Richard C. Kessler Reformation Collection. The event will include worship, lunch, and lectures, and the event is free and open to the public, though registration is required. The event will also be livestreamed, though we ask that virtual guests also register. Please see details below and click to register.

This Fall's focus is "Reforming Intelligence: New Technology and the Legacy of the Reformation."

At the heart of the day's conversation are two questions: "What can the past teach us about how to adapt in a world of rapid innovation?" and "In what ways can new innovations offer us new insight into the past?" To help direct our conversations, we will welcome to campus two experts who have been thinking on each of these topics for many years.
