Stay smart. Stay safe. Stay connected. That's the message behind a free community class designed to help adults build confidence and make smart choices online.

The Internet Safety & Etiquette class will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hillside Presbyterian Church, 1879 Columbia Dr, Decatur, GA 30032. The session is presented by the church's Evangelism and Communication Ministry and hosted by Savvy K Tech.

This hands-on class is open to anyone who reads and understands at an adult level, and will cover practical, everyday skills including how to protect your privacy, think before you click, be respectful online, and keep your personal information safe. Participants will leave with the tools to make smart choices today for a safer digital future tomorrow.

What to know before you go:

  • Bring your own computer: everyone is asked to bring a laptop to follow along with the lesson.

  • Lunch is on us: food and snacks will be served throughout the session.

  • Space is limited: early registration is encouraged.

  • It's completely free, but seating won't last, so sign up soon.
