Hurricane season will begin in a month and churches are finding it more and more difficult to find and afford adequate insurance coverage. The Peace River Presbytery will be hosting a learning opportunity on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, via Zoom, on this topic.

Earl Burkett, an insurance agent in Tampa, who writes the coverage for the presbytery and for several congregations through the Insurance Board, will lead the webinar. Earl will cover the types of insurance that churches need to carry and how to find that coverage. He will also talk about the reality that coverage can mean the difference between having staff, continuing mission, or having wind coverage.
