Festival of Homiletics
Festival of Homiletics
May 12-15, 2025
Peachtree Road United Methodist Church in Buckhead
For over two decades, the Festival of Homiletics has been a sacred refuge where preachers and faith leaders come to be renewed, inspired, and equipped for the vital work of proclamation.
This year’s theme, “Preaching to Heal the Divide,” couldn’t be more timely. As our communities grapple with deepening political, social, and spiritual divisions, we’re bringing together some of the most inspiring voices to explore how preaching can build bridges and foster healing in our fractured world.
As you might imagine, an event of this size requires many helping hands to run smoothly. I'm reaching out today to request your help in spreading the word to your networks that Festival of Homiletics is offering discounted registration rates (up to 25%, 50% and 100% off current pricing!) for volunteers based on the hours worked during the event. This is a wonderful opportunity for church members and staff teams to take part in Festival of Homiletics, hear from some amazing preachers and speakers, and serve in a fun and unique way. We are currently seeking volunteers for help with registration, participant support, event set-up and tear-down, content creation for social media, and more. We hope to see you at the Festival of Homiletics in May!
